Fold Farm Cottages, Kettlewell, Upper Wharfeldale, Yorkshire Dales
Four traditional cottages created from a barn and situated within the village of Kettlewell, beside the stream and within e asy walking distance of several shops, three pubs, two tea rooms and the lovely old church.

Situation: Kettlewell nestles in the Upper Wharfedale Valley, fourteen miles from the market town of Skipton, with its wonderful medieval castle, and six miles from Grassington. Much of the “Calendar Girls” film was made in and around Kettlewell and the area is ideal for walking, (being very close to the “Dalesway”) climbing and cycling as well
as touring by car.

Cottage Information: All the cottages have beamed ceilings and are comfortably furnished and fully heated, with the added advantage of an open fire.  Each cottage has Freesat TV and a DVD player, games and books. The modern kitchens are fully fitted with good quality appliances and utensils, including washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, microwave and, in all but Buttercup, a dishwasher. There is ample private parking and a patio with garden furniture. Vodafone and Orange are currently the only mobile reception but a pay-as-you-go phone may be borrowed if required.

Coltsfoot, Cowslip sleeps 4 in a double, with ensuite bathroom with shower over the bath and a twin room with ensuite shower room and there is a W.C. downstairs. Coltsfoot sleeps 4 in a double and a twin bedroom.  There is a house bathroom upstairs and a walk-in shower room downstairs. Clover sleeps 3 in a king-size double and a single bedroom, also with house bathroom upstairs and shower room downstairs.

Each of these three cottages has a sitting/dining room and separate kitchen.
 

Buttercup Cottage sleeps 2: This is an imaginatively designed single storey cottage with combined sitting room/dining room with kitchen area. There is one bedroom with a kingsize bed and a bathroom with shower over the bath.

All the bed linen and towels for these four cottages is included in the price. A small dog is welcome, though not in bedrooms, in some of the cottages and smoking is not permitted indoors in any.

Booking Short stay and weekend bookings are welcome between November and March. Between April and October the cottages are booked weekly from Saturday afternoon until the following Saturday morning. Please contact the owner regarding short break availability and prices.
